The internet is the digital community where your students live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Knowing how to stay safe online, be aware of and prevent cyberbullying, and determine what information is credible are all important skills that today’s students need to have. But, where do you start?
In this on-demand webinar, learn how Toledo Public Schools implemented an online safety program to ensure their students were prepared to stay safe online. You’ll also hear their insights and best practices on how to implement a similar program at your school or district. During this session, Technology Facilitators at Toledo Public Schools Shannon Bischoff and Amy Graver share how they:
- Determined what elements were needed for online safety instruction and chose a standards-aligned curriculum;
- Overcame challenges in implementing a new program;
- Measured the program’s success and made improvements along the way.
